Foxmodels (UK) is essentially a Northern UK based recruitment vehicle. The vast majority of our work is done in Tyne and Wear but we do arrange shoots in Leeds and Edinburgh from time to time.

Here's a little more information for you:

Fox is created for people like you by people like you. If your friends hear you say, 'I want to be a glamour model' as often as you say hello and if you'd like to attend genuine model auditions in North UK then you are in the right place.

In 2000, ex-model Lindsay and partner Thomas decided to move 'the other side of the camera' and recruit for an expanding 'niche' in the US online glamour modelling marketplace.

There is great demand in the United States of America for British 'glamour model' girls and couples to be filmed and then marketed abroad in the US, for exclusive distribution in the US as 'white label' (unbranded) short films and picture sets. The work type starts at topless and fully nude modelling as a minumum. We can advise you on how to be a glamour model in a pretty unique way as a website movie and stills glamour model.

Our images and movies are available to paying customers only and across only a select few US websites that generally operate within a 'ring'. We supply to around two dozen affiliated websites in the US.

So how does it work? What exactly do you do at Foxmodels?

We recruit and 'test-shoot' in the UK so that the US distributors can get an idea of who they'd like to work with and potentially re-shoot for distribution.

So Foxmodels (UK) is essentially a UK based 'recruitment agency' for this global industry. Model shoots in Newcastle and the Tyne and Wear area are most common. We are based in the North East.

Established, genuine, friendly, safe, well respected and professional too.

And as we're run by people who have worked 'in the business' we know how you feel and how to look after you. We ourselves wanted to know how to be a glamour model in the late 90's - and achieved it. Maybe we can help you too?

So what do I do if I'm interested?

Firstly, please read a little deeper into what kind of work we do. We recruit only a few (predominantly) girls and ladies from very large numbers of applications weekly.

So to save your time and ours we would be grateful if - to a degree - you would 'pre-select' or 'de-select' yourself. Being an amateur movie model can be great fun but just may not be for you. And being an amateir internet website model is hard work too if you are successful.

You mention you need to do "test" shoots, are these paid?

Strictly they are not, no.

Initially, we'll decide whether to test shoot based on the girl.

If we thinks she is good then we'll cover some costs sometimes. But if we pay too high then this will exclude the girl from earnings for that test shoot. Occasionally the subject wants a one off payment and that's fine. Very unlikely at a test shoot though as this is our way of finding out whether US dist want the model. BUt I have to say that rejections from the US is rare. we know what they are looking for.

Paying much for test shoots is very rare as we dont get paid for them you see.

But sometimes we take a punt.

I thought test shoots for free was a thing from back in the day, didn't realise anyone still did that.

I don't suppose you will get much take up from this forum, the majority of the models and actresses (most are experienced in the industry) probably wouldn't be too interested in earning only travel costs for a shoot.

I maybe wrong but best of luck.

And I've got to be completely honest, I had no idea that there was such a thing as web rings where if you don't have a USA IP address you couldn't view.
