ALERT: Models Be Careful

Hi I am Matt otherwise known as Stormchild69,

I needed to bring to attention a post featuring a term 'Establised' Business.

Please check out, before working with any company or individual, credentials from other models and how long the 'Established' business has been going for.

Check out on 'http://www.who.is' exactly how established their website is and please get full references from established models that have supposedly worked with said companies.

Also never shoot with anyone, however big they claim to be, for free. Good producers and even amateurs will always pay - even if it is a reduced fee.

Sorry to Newb togs/producers who have just started out - do as I did - Book an established studio to do a shoot from and definately encourage a chaperone to come along - emphasisng that he/she stays off set.

I know this has been posted a zillion times but needed to bump this,

Stormchild69

I have to agree with you 100% there Stormchild.

Models who have been in the business for a long time (or even just a fair while) know the score and check out any offers of work from anyone (individuals or businesses) they don't know.

I would also urge all new models to check out all offers of work until you get to know people.
Producers and photographers here on the BGAFD and who've been in the business a long time will always be willing to help you if you need it.

Also, new producers/photographers. You can't do better than Stormchild suggests and book yourself reputable studio to do your shoots in.

Most importantly. Have fun but stay safe.

Myson
