hmmm I am such a website owner... and I so dont know what you are looking for

Someone to design a site, someone to programme the site, someone to bill for your site, someone to host your site, someone to promote your site... all pretty individual aspects... dont know of anyone person who does all... well apart from an established webmaster...

I seriously would waffle on so you can get the feedback you require... or come to milton keynes take me out for a dirty curry and I may just share my juice...

What follows assumes that you want to do something serious with a decent budget, and builds on puretotty's comment:-


Designers / Programmers

Individuals tend to be one or the other (one needs an arty eye, the other a coding brain), but GOOD ones of either will usually be able to bring in a suitable one of the other to deliver a good result.

Companies try to ensure they cover both skillsets.

Billing and Hosting - pretty much bought in services and any Website Supplier should be able to make suggestions.

Maintaining/Updating - you want to insist on a CMS based site so you can do all the routine stuff - adding/removing products etc.

Marketing/Promotion - I think you have to do this yourself or hire someone to do it for an agreed number of hours week.
