I don't know if I am putting this post up in the right area (i.e. British girls forum or Promotions), as I don't usually come across anyone (excuse the pun) that I feel needs to be warned about, but unfortunately this time I have.

I have recently worked for a company (not a new one in fact) who sell their product to a very LARGE and well established name in the industry (and before everyone starts speculating, I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT BLUEBIRD) who choose to pay they're performers up to 28 days later...

Like most 'normal jobs' this to me is not a problem. I completely understand if you are a large corporation which needs invoice(s), then for payment to go through the proper procedure of accounts etc. this is perfectly acceptable.
But, if you are promised as a performer, cameraman, or any type of worker in this industry that you will be paid UP TO 28 days later, then that is what you expect, not 31 days, not 62 days and especially not 93 days later. Or to have to hound the said company for your money.

This company prefers to use NEW PERFORMERS i.e. in some cases slightly naive performers, who not knowing the ways of the industry will be happy to not be paid for months and months on end, some even forgetting, whilst said company is gaining interest on the money, rubbing they're grubby little hands together and jetting around the world on lush holidays. Unfortunate for this company on this occasion they have come a cropper when they tried to rip off someone who had been in the industry for a while.

Well, we'd all like to work for free. I myself love my job and love to fuck, but like everyone else in this world have bills to pay (how dull I know??)

As I would hate to stand by and let more people within this industry get ripped off by this company who are the ones which give other producers/directors a bad man and the porn industry a bad reputation.

The moment anyone gets caught slipping they'll soon get known for it and theres nowt worse than having a bad name in a business where everyone knows everyone.

Well they do after a while if anyone is around more than 5 minutes.

I think you mean libel. It's not libel if it's true although how someone is supposed to know it's true is a different matter, Admin might just not like the risk.

I am amazed any company pays you girls later on. It doesnt matter how big you are, you pay the person on the day. I know a few companies in the US that makes millions and every girl is paid on the day...

If you book someone and do the shoot then they should be paid once the shoots complete.

I agree. All performers and hired hands should always get paid on the day. All this 28/30 or more days is total bollocks from wankers. My, I wish I could work for Killergram. It must be delightful.

Hmmm... no offense Renee but how does this act as a warning when you wont name who is doign this... I could hazzard a guess mind... a model friend on myn had the same issue with a company and is still waiting for ?600 !!! Very sad... yep pretty sure it's the same people...

It is puretotty, I remember her telling me about it when we did that shoot together, just had e-mail from Renee telling me who it is, so you guessed right mate!
