I use Adobe Premiere Pro as if you buy the full adobe creative suite you get a prgoram included called encore dvd and that lets you do all your dvd menus, special features etc.. With is all being the same type of software you can load up projects in the various pieces of software that come with it.

I would recommend You the same like Paul Taylor if You are experienced in the field of Video Cutting/Editing. Here at Sadobeauties we work with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Encore. If You buy the complete Package called "Abobe CS 3 Master Collection" You will have all these Programs included in one Pack.
If You only need Software for encoding it into different Formats - the best Program on the Market in my opinion clearly is: TMPEG Encoder. And it is a lot cheaper than the Adobe-Stuff. You will also get a Tool called "TMPEG DVD Author" to edit Menus and Stuff for professional DVD's.
In Version 3 there is a lot of new features included and the Quality results are very good / on a professinal level!
Well - and last but not least - if You have a Macintosh the ultimate and best Tool for editing (it is and will ever be...) : FINAL CUT Pro.
