Been doing some Screen Grabs from HD video today, I have never really messed with them too much but the results seem quite impressive and it's scarey (as a photography lover) which way it's going, will there be a time when photography is obsolete in the adult industry? there's pro & cons for each arguement but we are heading for interesting times I think.

I agree with you.

When I go HD, I'm going to stop taking stills, at least for the internet. Breaks up the flow of the session moving from one to another. And with stills from HD you can just use your video lights and abandon any flash system...

I'm using the Canon XHA1 HDV Cam, (i'm a Canon addict though) it's a bit on the heavy side but it has a great lens and manual controls.

the XHA-1 is my camera of choice too

Yes this is something i thought a long time ago will HD make stills obsolete !wink!

Nah never happen, you can't do fancy lighting skills with HD, lord knows I have tried. back cover art and small galleries maybe but cover art, etc always be a camera.
