Just a thought but I would think that girls me included wouldnt want there email address splashed all over a database, I guess this could lead to every Tom, Dick and Harry sending them emails, stalkers, guys pretending there producers etc...I guess the point of agencies is the people/producers can be vetted before they are passed onto the girls.

Just a thought but it may be an idea if the company posted on here saying what they were looking for and then the girls that may be interested would contact them.

Thats purely my opinion and im sure others will have differing views.

I guess so however personally im not in the habit of handing out my phone number to someone I dont know but thats up to that particular girl eh.

I just see an actual database of people personal details (emails/phone number etc) open to abuse a bit like those who didnt grasp the concept of the certs database and thought it would have people personal details on and as such created merry hell that really wasnt warranted.

But your suggesting something similar with peoples phone numbers and/or emails here.

Yes I posted my email address on that particular thread but to be honest not many people will see it other than the few that maybe sit for hours upon hours reading each and every posting on this forum and the original poster and then in a few days it will have dropped to page whatever and wont be seen again. (You see my point???)

Whereas a database with people details on, should there be some stalker type individual out there who thinks I know I will contact Miss X (made up name) and harrass her, well he can click onto the database and onto her name and hey presto....there are her details.

This is exactly what people were saying when the certs database was brought up for discussion. Which im sure you remember!!!

Of course those people hadnt actually grasped the concept of the certs database at that specific time but im sure you see where im coming from with this.

Anyway thats my 2 pence for what its worth.

I think it would be silly for a model to hand out their phone numbers to any Tom, Dick or Harry. If girls were doing this at Erotica to people who they know nothing about then more fool them. If a guy has proffessional looking industry business card to exchange then I guess this makes the situation slightly better.

I can see your point. Lets face it, once you got a girls email address its not that hard to get her number but I think the reason the BGAFD dont do this sort of thing officially is because the direct contact is there and they dont want to be seen to be treading on the agents toes so to speak.

That said with the concern recently with regards to the data protection act its hard to defend when this sort of thing goes on all the time.
