Your help is needed please

Hi,
I've been viewing adult video for years now (As have most blokes!) and i've often thought about producing my own stuff.
So my question to you guys is...is it worth it?
I have a good day job, so i'm not expecting this to pay my mortgage tomorrow. I'll shoot a few scenes online. A good friend of mine is a web programmer so that won't be an issue.
But obviously i'd want to make money long term. Not lose it all!
What are your thoughts?
