Its on at Earls Court next week and well worth a visit if you have any interest in pro and semi pro video kit - cameras and lights - but editing and peripherals as well. Ten quid on the door, but free if you register, probably not too late yet.

You can get to play with what are this year's must have cameras if you haven't already bnought one.

Hey Andy,

A big thanks for mentioning the Broadcast Video Expo, I hadn't known it was on, but had a great afternoon looking round with my shooting assistant Lily.

She now wants to be bought the Final Cut Express fast editing keyboard for Mac - which should speed up our editing work a lot, and is available for Avid too - and I'm certainly going to treat myself to an HD1000 from Glidecam. At only a couple of hundred quid it's the first affordable Steadicam-style camera stabiliser suitable for my little JVC High-Def camera, and should make all the difference during those shots when all the furniture starts shaking a bit... :-)

Glad I was able to point you in the right direction, and that you both had a good time. Its usually good for a couple of hours of your time whatever ones kind of work, and a good place to have a bit of a play with kit if you can get past the wedding video guys.

If you're feeling flushed, NAB is on in Las Vegas this April & the second weekend in September there is IBC in Amsterdam.
