12 films will cost you about ?10000 in BBFC fees and then you can only sell them in a handful of shops - do you still not believe "such hype" !grin!
I don't know much about the selling in the US, but I guess you would have to jump through all the Section 2257 legislation loops.
Anyway the wholesale price of DVDs is so low, I wouldn't bother - and you've got all the hastle and expense of replication, packaging etc.
