BV Castings it sounds really dodgy. For one they were reluctant to refer to themselves as an agency or a studio & couldn't give examples of anyone they had worked with but just kept dropping random performer names.
Checked on companies house register & can't find an entry that's close to that name & only no. they have is a national rate one :S
Googled name & found this site
http://www.bvcastings.co.uk/index.html & my bullshit detector went into overdrive. No directory of models or companies just "Testimonials".
Has anyone heard of them? if they are genuine then then really need to work on how they sell themselves as they give a really dogy impression.

The domain is registered to a Hong Kong address:
1 Hung Cheung Industrial Centre
12 Tsing Yeung Circuit,
Hong Kong
HK
00000 000
Hong Kong
I can't find a UK address on their website, the only contact information is an 0871 number and they're usually used to generate revenue.

Never heard of them and I agree with u. There r too many people drop names when they don't even know the performers.

Thanks guys it did sound really dodgy & that Hong Kong address is a good bit of info to have. Apparently the name is "borrowed" off of a German production company so doesn't look good.
Lol they tried to say the were working with someone stateside erm well no they're not as 1) she's retired from the business to study & 2) I talk to her all the time lol. For some reason people drop her name a lot so lucky for me I can ask her.
It is somewhat of an insult to people's intelligence not really making that much of an effort at their deception. I spotted it within a couple of minutes of their call, "recomended" to them my arse lol still not happy or sure of how they got my no. I think I've given my details to someone I shouldn't have at some point.

Yep because they rely on people not being too well informed to make the rip off more easy.
If they cannot at least mention a few regualr names then i would be very suspicious. You can always ask your Uncle Tel cos he knows everybody and if he doesnt then he knows someone who knows that person or someone who knows someone who knows that person. !laugh!
Porn scams are here to stay because they know that if people are dumb enough to part with money its because they are thinking with their dicks.
Shame then that these people didnt respond to paying for an audition. Some people have the crazy idea that if we want them we should pay for them.
True, but not when we dont know for sure you can do it.

So are those that think one's admiration gives them a licence to take advantage. That's what really pissed me off about the week just gone. How people have the nerve basically to argue with me that all models are responsible for their own travel & guys aren't really paid just winds me up, when I've been working already & know that not to be entirely true. It's just the lack of being able to ask people questions as well when I really needed to that got to me as well & really felt like I was being shut out for using my common sense.
Auditions yes but if someone expects me to end up out of pocket as a result then they're not producing porn but pimpimg their models. It's the type of thing that gives porn a bad name.

lol they represent it as Blue Velvet & I'm trying to get the contact address of the German Studio so can advise them someone miss-trading on their name. If the studio is still running of course.
