I've not had any problems with not receiving messages sent via hotmail, my MSN been iffy, & not has anyone I spoke to.
I just thought some people in the industry weren't as courteous as others, I've stopped letting that get to me now though as there's more than enough good people in it.
If anyone has sent me something that they've not a had a reply to let me know as I reply to everything.
Matt
p.s I've started having an issue with spam so please show the same respect with my email address as I do with yours when you get in contact.

your right in what you say Matt, but I've been told that emails I have sent have not arrived to other hotmail accounts, so better safe than sorry

Ah that's cool to know thanks edbowen, I guess I'm going to have to rely on people resending me stuff if they've not got a reply :S.
I make a point of replying to everything I receive as it's just basic courtesy I wasn't aware of any problems with MSN & been sending & receiving just fine is it only a few people that have been affected? If so maybe could they list themselves here just in case I've not got something.

Lol you got me worried now as most of what I get sent is from people new or wanting to get into the industry so I really hope they got my replies. I would hate to think that they had the impression of being ignored, I know that feeling, especially as a lot of them took the time to send pics, you'd be amazed at how many women read this forum.
It might explain why I'm getting so many as more than a few are along the lines of "I tried contacting but got no reply". It's not going look good if I'm telling them to get in contact with people that are affected by this hotmail issue.
Is there any chance of finding out who may've had this problem? I know it's a vain thing to say but I've sort of developed a little bit of a fan base, mainly for my posts on here, & I'm really enjoying it so people getting in contact are really important to me.

Hotmail is totally and utterly useless for people in the adult industry.
Also Live.
Their systems reject a lot of legit adult mail and don't even put it in your junk folder.
Nor do they tell the send it's been rejected. (A domain admin gets an email, but not the sender).
YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON WORK.
It is trivial to buy a domain name with email package.

Correction
Hotmail is totally and utterly useless FULL STOP
I have posted about this before.
Numerous times I have sent email to models with a Hotmail address to enquire about a shoot and received no response. Maybe they have simply decided not to reply but I suspect regularly either my email or their response has been filtered out.
Hotmail continually filter emails containing only words the Queen would use in public.
Include an attachment regardless of if the Hotmail user is sender or recipient e.g. word document or a few photos even zipped up and there is more chance of finding hens teeth in a pile of rocking horse droppings than the email being received.
An email sent to more than one address is often, if not always, blocked by Hotmail too, I presume they automatically filter it as spam.
I aways put Hotmail email addresses in the BCC box to try and increase the odds of them not being filtered out.
I can understand both models and producers wanting an online email account so they can access new email and look back at messages from from any internet connected computer or their phone / pda.
Once I would have suggested Yahoo as messages would worst case be diverted to the spam folder but now they regularly block messages too.
While it is ever more difficult to come up with unused user and email names try to choose carefully.
Something like
Sexy Girl /
sexygirlxxx@xyz.com
or
Julie XXX Model /
xjuliemodelx@xyz.com
is far more likely to be blocked, as well as being a problem to someone checking email away from home e.g. at work or at a library than
Julie Bloggs /
juliebloggs3579@xyz.com

I've no other option but to use webmail so if gmail affected that's it for me.
I'm not aware of a problem with sending or receiving emails from websites or stars in adult entertainment. Other people with email accounts provided with their service provider confirm that some just don't reply if they think you're a fan. How do people know that hotmail is doing this when to all intents & purposes it looks normal at both sender & receiver ends?
I've set up gmail for bookings but to be honest with the recent conversations I've had with new people the same few names come up over & over again so I'm begining to suspect a little bit of excuse making for previous bad treatment. One of the sites that comes up all the time sends an automated confirmation but few hear past that.
Can some please provide details of those known to be affected by this & how they recognised it? It's important as new people are always asking how they find the good guys & 1)It's not going to look good if I refer them to someone that's not going to be able to reply 2)I may've told them not to bother contacting certain people due to no response which isn't their fault.

Thanks for the acknowledgement Ed.
Sorry I just can't see evidence of an issue, could some publish how you indentify this?
