Sounds Dodgy

Morning All.

Been trying to arrange a shoot with this girl she is new to the scene, and she emails me today saying she as a booking, on Saturday and some one is offering her ?750 per hour. To me that sounds too dodgy and quite a few alarm bells gone off.

She asked me my opinion, I have asked her to get references from those guys, get all the relevant information about it, and if she goes to it, to take a chaparrone.

I'm I being over protective here or, are those realistic prices per hour.

Cheers

Sounds incredible to me as no one would pay ?750 per hour that I know but he might be a rich mug punter or another con artist but if shes lucky he might even pay up.

You are right to be suspicious though and if he refuses her a chaperone then at least get relaible references from a girl who can be contacted and not a string of names that cannot be verified

?750 an hour!!! How many hours? ... I would love to be proven wrong on this but it I think you have every right in being concerned ....... Even more so if a chaperone isnt allowed if the Togs not known and cant provide valid references.... The other side could be that if she is new and not aware of general/current rates, she could well be just trying to get more out of you,im sorry to say .. unless your shoot is SO deviant that you really should be paying ?750 phour!wink!

According with what the model said that was for the 1h only, that is what triggered alarm bells.

Maybe if its a "porn shoot" or a kodac wanna be ?750 for a quick i probably wont last more than an hour shoot is about right but theres no way thats a proffessional company - saying that if it is im second in the quew behind sarah! xx

I don't know any model who would be paid that for any kind of work. Maybe she got the decimal place wrong.

lol... The decimal point in the wrong place.

That sounds extremely high & it has to be a little dodgy. I would most certainly be going along & asking for fee up front for something like this!
