My Norton Anit Virus threw up an "unsafe site" warning when I clicked on the above photos.

The Norton Security website identified a "Downloader" contained within the pictures.

Its cause of the popups pain in the arse

Sorry about that but loads of other people have looked without any problems.
I thought a lot of the pictures on here were via Image avenue.

Norton always throws a wobbler when you visit Imagevenue.
The reason (I think) is because there's a piece of script in there that does one (or two) things. There's an advertising popup lurking around that wants to randomly open a casino page - or something like that... and an overlaid screen (that many browsers deal with so that you don't notice it's there) which insists you click a button to see the image.

The problem is that Norton doesn't seem to have any facility to create a list of sites which you want to allow to do these things and therefore get rid of the equally annoying Norton popup!

Thanks for clearing that up. Someone emailed me and accused me of spreading a virus. He called me a rude name too.

Firstly, Unless you own Imagevenue you couldn't possibly be responsible for something that Norton says is an issue with the page.
Secondly, Jpegs are notoriously difficult to insert malicious script into so virtually nothing nefarious gets into a computer from a .jpg image.
Images are used to lure people to sites that sometimes try to do naughty things but then programs like Norton get all freaked-out when even the silliest of things occur.
