Background music for clips

Hi guys.
How are we all doing?
I have been busy quietly building content in preparation for starting my site and now I have some great scenes but I think they need some music in the background (apart from the scenes I shot with Masie 'Fuckin' Dee. There is some great freeform jazz coming through the wall lol).
What do you guys do? Do you pay artists for use of their music? Create your own? (How the hell would you go about doing that anyway!?)
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Take care everyone, talk soon.

I'm about to launch a set of music clips which have been created for my own scenes.
At the moment there's 40 pieces of music in all sots of styles and tempos, ideally suited to porn scenes and totalling three and a half hours running time.
They'll fit on a single CDR as MP3 files, or I may sell them by download - just sorting out payment methods now.
Price will be ?30.00 for unlimited usage.

me and my band cant do all our stuff, well thats coz I like rock if its was dance or jazz I would have to find another way lol. But the only place I need music is in the new title sequence and thats it, I dont use anywhere else in the scenes.

Hey man, that sounds kinda cool actually.
I use imovie and final cut express, I am pretty sure that MP3's will be fine with it. I use a mac too so do you know if I will be able to convert the tracks back into MP3 format from itunes? Why is nothing ever easy?! lol

I use iMovie and Final Cut Express also.
MP3 files go straight into either one.
The music I create is original, so although I can handle it within iTunes, it's not an iTunes file, just a plain MP3, so doesn't need any further conversion.
Microsofties will also be able to use it with no problem.

Hi Toybox, thanks for that fella.
I am quite interested in your music dude and also any top tips you have for final cut express too because I find it a bit tricky to use to be honest. I've never been particularly quick when it comes to tech!

Good question. I know a bunch of composers who work with films and games and I'm sure would be more than happy to create you a customised (to your preference) tune or soundtrack for a modest price. They can have you a sample done in a day. The least I can do is point you in the direction of my friends who do it professionally. Email me if you want to contact them.

I make music myself. This seems like a good idea. Music for porn
