I do a bit of video and audio conversion work. It is tricky to price. To copy a 60 minute tape to CD should take 60 minutes, then do teh conversion, tidy it up, bung on to disc and it is hard to make a decent hourly rate.

On the other hand you can buy most old albums for less than ?5 from Amazon and they will be much better quality - cassettes were completely crap.

Maybe you should aim for niche markets? Family's personal recordings etc.

I agree with you PKAY, Cassette quality degrades quite a lot if they have been left in a draw or anywhere for a long time.

Cant forget the big monster that is iTunes and other places where people can purchase the individual tracks the same day for a quid or 2.
