Brand new for iPad users (free test)

Hi All,
It's been a while since we launched something new (OK, we put new movies on Strictly Broadband daily, but you know what I'm saying...)
We've launch a brand new site dedicated to iPad users:
The site works along similar lines to Strictly Broadband: you pay to rent movies; no recurring payments, ever, guaranteed! We launch today with about 130 full-length movies, with several hundred more coming shortly - and new ones added every day.
If you have an iPad, drop me an email - the first 5 responses will get a free trial.

Yes, because the Daily Mail is the best source of information about anything, as we all know
The fact is that the iPad IS dreadfully overpriced, it should have been done by another company for a third of the money - but it wasn't, or at least no-one was interested in similar devices when they first appeared.
The iPad is a still a device in search of a application. It's not a computer (it doesn't multitask), it's not a phone (though it now runs Skype on WiFi and 3G), it's too big to be an MP3 player (though it plays MP3's) and it doesn't take pictures (though the camera port is there to do so, and will no doubt come into use on Version 2).
Despite this, almost everyone who has one thinks it's great, and almost everyone who doesn't think it's great hasn't used one.
In terms of porn, I doubt anyone has had a very successful wank over content on an iPhone, but on the iPad, it's a definite goer...

Well I didn't have a wank, as I was watching C4 news, but I watched around two hours of TV on the iPhone 4 last night, and was surprised by the quality, so much that I forgot I was watching such a small screen.
So I do think it's entirely possible for someone to tease one out whist watching content on the iPhone.

Exactly - Daily Mail readers just aren't "elite" enough to join the iPad Elite !wink!

Until now... !laugh!

TBH I agree with you (except for the bit about the engagement ring!)
I have an iPhone 4, and we have an office iPad (purchase justification: we had to test our own iPad site!)
I've found that the iPad is a lovely thing, but it doesn't do anything I can't do on my iPhone anyway. Of course, it has a bigger screen so its biggest benefit is in watching high-quality video.
I wouldn't have bought an iPad at this stage - I'm not normally a version-1 purchaser. There will undoubtedly be much cheaper tablet computers on their way, from Apple and elsewhere, and Strictly iPad should support all of them.
