hi all
i really need some advice pls ,people have been asking me if i have my own site ,i have been toying with the idea but not sure as am not your cate harrington or kerry louises of this world ,would love to have your opions if it worth the hassel or not

Hi Holly,
Everyone has their own niche as such, so don't worry about the 'competition'. As long as you can differentiate yourself from the 'crowd' and position yourself accordingly, you should be ok. You seem to do well on Harmony Social and on here, so let's assume that you have a potential fan vase waiting. The key however is in regular bontent, and engaging with your fans/customers: not just every now and again, but regularly (one big caveat however: this DOESN'T mean you should Twitter every two minutes telling people you picked your nose or did the ironing!).

As for your own site, maybe it's worthwhile doing cam work as an interim foot in the water? See what sort of reaction you get?

If you're not far from London, perhaps join XBIZ.net in the next day or two and come along to the next London Gathering on the 14th - there will be industry pros - payment providers, webmasters, and cam company execs (the latter flying over from Belgium and Germany) that you could get their advice and opinions on to help you make an informed decision.

Hi Holly.

I think you are gorgeous as you well know I reckon you could have a good go at doing your own stuff on your own site. I think that Love_Byter and Oli are spot on about having a niche but then, the fact is is mainly you is probably niche enough to get you going.

Also, the regular updates and interaction will be key as well. Your fanbase will expect a certain amount of personal interest from you, blogs etc but I agree again, no constant twittering please lol

If you ever need a hand shooting stuff maybe we could get together and sort something out

I agree with the other comments so far. You could do well with your own pay site.

Having shot with you a couple of times now, 1 "niche" you could consider would be that of being a "posh bird", you certainly have the voice to pull that off.

As with BigMattyP, I'd be happy to "share" shoots with him (and you of course !laugh!) to start your content going.

I think you should definitely go for your own site hun. My problem is that I have to pay beautiful women to get naked for my camera whereas you are a beautiful woman who could get naked in front of your own camera for free......!!!!

I think you have a fan base, and everyone in the biz loves, you, which lets you call in a lot of help at little or no cost. Certainly count me in if you need stuff doing in front or behind the camera.
