Can Someone explain Boy Girl Rates (Female Talent)

Ok we have a client who as asked us to shoot some boy girl stuff... I am trying to get my head around hiring people on a per scene basis...

We have never done that and always paid a day rate... but seems more and more people want a per scene rate... so let's say I pay per scene, what constitutes a scene... how long is that ?

When we shoot boy girl it takes us about a hour, hour and a half max to shoot the pics and one video... there is no way I am paying ?300 plus for a hour and a halfs work... Fireworks need to come out of that pussy for that kind of money...

Oh and I dont doubt some big named models can demand much more than that... but so I understand it (and judging my our own situation) money/work is a premium at the moment... I want to charge ?1000 a day for shooting, but I am lucky to get ?300... however I would rather have the work that sit around moaning about not having the work...

So if I book someone for a scene... how much shooting time is that ?

Hmm this is a really good question actually as when someone asks me my rate for BG I give them my standard rate, which could be for 4 hours, could be a full day - thats how I thought it worked?

I was also under the impression that a scene took about 4 hours (I guess thats right with the names as you do hard, soft and supersoft versions) so I too would be interested in hearing peoples feedback.

Excellent question babe :) hope you get the answer you are looking for x

See this is the thing, I have heard some of the big production companies can take 4 hours for a scene... however we never take that amount of time... maybe we're more about quantity over quality... and we only shoot one version...

We have a shoot for a client and the shoot includes two boy girl scenes and 2 solo scenes... I see this as about 4 hours work... the client is paying ?500 plus travel... and of course we will look after the talent with food and drink... (also please dont flood me with offers of doing the work as it stands at the moment the jobs are taken)

But one person now is saying the "rate" is unfair... fuck me ?500 cash in hand and expenses paid for around 4 hours work...

And yes would love to have more feedback... we've had a fair few girls put forward for this job, and luckily the client liked a fair few of them, so I guess we'll just have to look at a plan B.

I tend to pay ?300-?400 depending on what I want, suck as Anal or boy-boy-girl. This is over a 3 hour period and in that time I often fit in an oral video scene, a full boy-girl and if there is time a solo video, so I pay for a set number of hours not per scene. I have never had any complaints and have always managed to get models this way even with the well known performers.

But yes ?300 for an hour if thats how long it takes you to film a scene is far too much depending on who your client is of course, but then some producers do pay more than others, I guess big companies can afford to pay more, but self employed producers have less of a budget and I think the rates above are still fair.

Well I heard one particular big company pay ?500 for the day... and this includes 2 boy girl scenes and solo... so we pitched the client at the same rate.

What really miffs me is we made it clear that the shoot was 2 boy girl scenes and 2 solo... and we were paying ?500 plus travel... we then submitted the girls to the client when they confirmed they were ok with this...

Now one of the girls who was selected by the client is saying the "rate" isnt fair... yes I know that I am repeating myself... just pointing out it makes me look bad now with the client... but hey I will find a replacement, it's them thats losing ?500 work... lol

I agree with Paul Taylor - If I hire a girl for a b/g scene it will be a 3-4 hour shoot during which she will do the b/g scene, some solo girl stuff and either a handjob or blowjob scene as well. I also don't havve problems hiring girls on this basis.

Cheers Charlie you just work to reasonable timeframes and that to me is enough time for me to get the content I require.

One of the problems is that when all and sundry became producers, the cowboys flooded in and started ripping the girls off by shooting 10-12 or more scenes in a day. (under the day rate). Some sensible models have tried to claw back a little control by charging by the scene to make the pay realistic to the work done.

In the good old days the agents would have controlled all this, but now everything is a free-for-all.............

well if everything is explained in the arrangement f the shoot then there are no problems. A model shouldn't have to get to a shoot and then have things sprang on her that she was not prepared for, this includes actual stuff in her performance and of course how long she will be there, if she was going to be doing 12 scenes, which don't think is possible then that would be a lot of money, and a lot more than your standard shooting time of 3 hours.

Models should always know how long they are needed for, bit we all know it's hard to get the message out to everyone, it's the new models that get taken for a ride as a lot of the well known models know the score.

The main problem you have when you start breaking b/g down by the hour is that you could end up with girls doing higher level, bigger risk jobs at glamour rates.

If we are taking the example that a girl is happy to do 4 hours at ?300, by your logic she should do one hour for ?75 which is rediculous, I know main stream models who wont do toys for that rate.

For me it has always been the act itself you are paying for, depending on scene length and the number needed , I will work up to a number of hours on the same rate but the flat rate has to stay the same. As a b/g model you are more at risk to sexual illness, pregnacy (we all take prcortions but acidents coudl happen) and some could argue that b/g work has a higher social impact both in how others look at you and indeed on private relationships and I think pay needs to reflect this.

As a few peopel have said if you only need the one scene for a particular client if you a smart producer you will film the aditionmal scenes you have paid for anyway because you can always sell them somewhere even if it takes months to make tyeh fee back on clip sites its stiull doable.
