I'm currently sat waiting for a doctor to do my tests for my certs!

She handed me a swab and walked out the room, what the fuck!?

Is this what the country has come to that doctors can't even be arsed to test adult performers now?

That is scary as it leaves room for faking results (not that im saying you would at all!!) X

Thats not good at all, which clinic do you go to? I have min of 4 swabs taken when I go to my clinic and then have blood tests done (seems standard at 2 clinics I have used)

Seems a very odd way for them to hand you a swab and expect you to do it yourself, not come across that yet.

Hope you asked them why they were doing it this way. I also hope this does not get brought into other clinics.

I was actually shocked! I told her straight I want it done by a doctor and not some diy shit!

It;s Nttingham city hospital, GU clinic, trust me I will advise them I won't swab myself but the way they explained
It was like they get loads of adult performers going there and they all swab themselves!!

Can't see how they think it's 100% accurate and what about there responsibility to ensure adult performers are safe. Well i'm shocked and they should be ashamed of how they do there testing. Is there another clinic you could go to that does proper testing and not offer you DIY?

Think I would be tempted to go to another clinic and be re tested just so you know you are 100% clear and happy.

Fuck me how dodgy is that?! I have had the same experience as Jo, loads of swabs and blood tests each time etc plus they use (thick moment) that thing, is it a speculum? You need to get right "up there" to do the swabs properly.

Agreed, they should be dam ashamed of themselves!
