LOTS more to add but for now, update your listing. The new site is much more about search based finding of models, so you don't have to keep racing to keep on the Front Page, but will need to have fully completed profiles in order to be seen by the people who want your look.

Also - if you link to your AIR listing in your BGAFD sig , first up, thank you, secondly, you'll need to update it.

Profiles are more detailed and better laid out.

The new site is much more integrated with links between forum posts, comments and profiles.

The only thing that looks better is the Gallerys other than that its still the same..?
How about some different templates..? where you can have different backgrounds to help show off your profile after all thats what its for. right.

It's not about showing off your profile, it's about helping people find people to work with.

That has always been, and will always be, the simple purpose of AIR.

But yes, - the changes have been under the hood, and their full power will only become apparent as the site fills with data. Basically we are measuring and tracking much more data, and using that to improve the effectiveness of the site in bringing real people together.

For example it will upgrade a model listing every time she logs in, not just when edited, and automatically fade out profiles that belong to people who are no longer visiting, which should neatly deal with the "quit but didn't tell anyone" model problem.

That said:-

Profiles are database driven information pages that, when fully completed :-

a) ensure that models are shown to the photographers who want their look, and

b) allow photographers/webmasters/producers to show their bona fides.

If you want a look/feel, then build your own portfolio site using one of the many template systems out there, then stick a link to it in your AIR profile

Ive updated my profile on the new version. Will the comments from other photographers be moved over or will we need to get those references again from the photographers?

I am NOT intending to move the comments over, (I'm not a good enough programmer to do it), so do what Storm did and just copy/paste.

Ok cool. Will do that once I get a chance to over the next few days.
Got to say I definitely prefer having the extra searchwords, etc. Thanks for your hard work on the site

Hmm im not a huge fan to be honest - But thats just design wise.

pmsl lol I just read the post and thought somehow he has got it the wrong way round lol. Oh well seems for once I had a good idea lol, was not sure if I could do that, but seems for once I got it right lol.

Right am off for some sleep, have just got home after a 4hr shift on Boudoir and then my normal 8hr shift on 40+ lol yes I am mad for doing 12hrs lol.
