Hi All
Probably covering a subject done before but need an up todate answer , HOW does a producer know when precented with up todate certs [girls & boys] that they are genuine ?

I've been offered some work and will also be looking to get certified "clear" but how does the others in the shoot know mine are Kosha ?

Plus , need a clinic in Hampshire thats happy to supply certs , any ideas ?

Go to Paddington parade Street the certs are free and take a week . the nurse showed me how to check the certs to make sure they are not Photocopied.

If it's any help Greg, they are the best there is. The dog's b*llocks in fact!! !thumbsup!

The certs we get at the Maple Clinic have your ID e.g. driving license details or Passport number on the cert which you can tally up on the same ID, this will become the norm as clinics improve as it means without a proper recognized ID you won't get a cert.
If a cert is printed and not an original its a fake, this happens a lot in the industry, even will a genuine cert its only ever safe until your first sexual encounter & useless after that so this is why we use certs as well as condoms...as the industry becomes more sexually aware things should improve.

It is a hard one, as some places do them differently especially at your local NHS which is where I get mine done here in Durham.

They print them out, but its all hand signed by a doctor so it's all cool.

One of the first times I got mine done they were going to give me a black and white one, I was like, can you give me a color one please as the last thing I want is for someone to think that is a photocopy.

I knew what one looked liked off working with other local girls over the year, this was at Newcastle I now get them done at Durham and they had to get a template sent through from Darlington, to be able to fill in, print off and sign.

I must of been the only one who asked for proof as I guess 90% who come through the door, get tested and then get told everything is fine and thats enough, but if someone like me from the Adult Industry needs his certs then, I need proof.

Its is just a standard mine but never had any problems when showing people on set, it just has the NHS logo on in, a little cartoon man with his thumbs up on it, the hospital address and all the the things you were tested for and the results, and what form of Id you provided on the day, i always use my passport so therefore by passport number is included on the form, then its signed by a Doctor.
I still have to remind them I need proof, it's usually the same too ladies there but they are always ready to just let me know the results, until I remind them, they must be on auto pilot or something lol.

It cost me ?15 but am told it maybe be going up, I get them back a week later but since i am he producer and the performer I can just make sure I am working in the other 3 weeks so it suits me as i am in control of when I work, for models a weeks and be a week they can't work and so the NHS sometimes isn't the best route but don't know what else would be here in Geordie Land

In short, you can't tell 100% that a test is genuine. You should ensure the test is on original paper with an original logo and an address. However, I saw on Watchdog last year how a determined forger can easily mock up virtually any household bill or credit card statement in their own name.

If you want my advice use your common sense. Last year we had a girl show up for a scene, we sent her home. Reason? She had a photocopied "Cert" that looked genuine, but the "Nurse's" writing/ entries on the Cert looked like that of a nine year old child complete with spelling mistakes.

I thought no qualified person writes like that. I used my instinct. Here in Hungary, tests include your id and they are also embossed with a Clinic Seal so as to discourage illicit photocopying.

To be honest I don't think "dodgy" certs are a major issue these days in the UK and in Hungary non-existant since there is just one clinic. Just be a little careful about accepting any old bit of paper thrust in front of you. Finally, don't assume that a test shown by a, "Big shot" is any more genuine than that presented by a total, "Unknown."

Be on your guard with who ever you are working with, that's my motto!

Thanks a lot for the replies , have been asked by the producer [& dont mind at all] to have back-to-back certs for at least three months , before they will consider me for a shoot and after that keep them up todate !
