Jo, why on earth did you have to wait for payment ?

because I trusted people ,so girls and guys heed my advice always get paid on the day of the shoot

I know that you can't name names but is it somebody well known who has done this to you and what reason did they give for not paying you on the day? It never ceases to amaze me what some people will do.

they didnt give a reason just would I agree to getting paid 30 days after and its now been over 2 calender months. Because I knew them I said yes.

you should always get paid on the day, no models should agree to this no matter how well you know them, as if it goes wrong as it has here there is nothing you can do to get your money. Jo if you feel this is going to happen to others, why not post on the UKAP site, you can name and shame there, please don't let others by caught out.

I've had this too, and still very disappointed about the whole thing, I will still keep the identity of the person quiet as there is a slight chance I can retrieve the payment (the shoot was late in October 2010) even after so long being promised bank transfers etc (

i will say the same about models who don't arrive with photo ID
has taken nearly 6 months some times to get it

I think 90 days and you can sue them - small claims court.

AIR allows naming and shaming provided it's kept polite and factual. Comments such as "I worked for him on 12th Jan, we agreed 30 day terms and it's April and I'm still waiting..." can have an impact.

Its always cash up front before you ever sign a model release, I know Josephine you are a very experienced actress & if they would take the piss with you imagine how many others they have done the same thing to...name them on AIR or UKAP.
