The state of having,"Self respect" is actually a very subjective and meaningless term when you think it through. If you, Katie, were to go on Jeremy Kyle, you would be screamed at by a bunch of morbidly obese, ugly, benefits claimants and their unanimous yell would be, "You ain't got no self respect!" What's funny is that they, if asked, would proclaim, that they themselves, have "self respect". Why? Merely for the simple fact that they EXIST ON EARTH, they deserve respect from others and therefore they have "self respect".

In other words, they have in their own minds, "Worth!", in spite of the fact it is they who are actually, "Worthless", to society as a whole. Is it not the wasters and scum of society who always demand, "Respect", ie "The cunt dissed me!" Before they plunge a knife into some poor innocent victim. They don't understand that respect is actually earned, not a God given right.

So, in other words one person has no right to accuse another, of having "no self respect", since that state, if it were true, would only be known to the the person that is being accused. In this way a top judge, in his own mind may have no self repect, regardless of his status or a sales manager sitting on the M25 everyday may have no self respect, in spite of his huge salary. Likewise, a girl choosing to be used as a sexual plaything by a man and his friends, may have little self respect in her own mind. Another girl may do exactly the same and enjoy every second of it, because she loves being used, her sex- crazed state of mind does not mean she has no, "Self respect".

In Nazi Germany, there were many SS Officers who slaughtered people in their thousands, who had bags of self respect!

In society, it is just assumed that normal people in normal jobs and normal lives, must by virtue of this fact alone, have an inherent, "Self respect". Everyone else, especially those that appear to lead a Hedonistic or depraved lifestyle are considered to be possibly lacking in "Self respect."

Do not pay any attention to the "The Chav Jury of the Morbidly Obese", who have a fucking opinion on every damn topic...........er, well apart from their own shortcomings!!happy!

I have no self respect. I swapped it for a Mars bar (King Size).

May I congratulate you on your most interesting and articulate blog.
I expect it could well produce many replies as a new topic for discussion.

Well I will start that off.
You say that many people with "shit" jobs do not have, or have lack of self respect. In many cases this is not ture but unfortunately food has to be put on the table and bills have to be paid.
Not everyone can do the job or jobs they wish to do, or even get a job at all. And that includes well educated people out of Uni. and not always people who leave school with no qualifications. God knows how they get on.

I am pleased to read that you are doing something you wish and love to do and are also doing well as a businesswomen as well.
Also pleased to read that you have family support in your career
If you had not received this would you still have carried on?

I sometimes wonder how many other models feel the same way has you, or is it just another "shit" job to them just to pay the bills
I would have to admit that I have met both, and I expect most togs and producers will have done the same.
It will be interesting to see what other readers say about this..

And to finish on a laugh.
With you being a Catholic I would what the Pope would think of you.
