They dont need to regulate every website. Just a couple of court cases that go their way should have everyone jump in line. Thats how it works.
Should be interesting to see how the Telegraph pans out. My guess is they'll buckle and cough up because they can afford it but this proves that ignorance is not an option and no doubt ATVOD will be campaigning this way for the next couple years to make sure the news gets through.
I agree with you though that this imposition is unethical and hope this whole thing is overturned but until it is met with opposition it is already enforceable by law

I made a suggestion to a friend that if he were to have an ten second intermission in the middle of his movies and maybe a 'b' movie before the main feature then surely he could argue that this was more like a movie theater than TV?
And I'm serious about this.
As an aside - since when was this a democratic state?

Sorry Bill. I do agree with you. It is ill thought out. Just stating my views based on what I know from thepodcast with Pete Johnson which offers more information than you can see on their site.
Its deliberately vague to maximise sign ups to it.

AITA are looking at this and in the process of getting feedback from it's members on how they wish us to continue with ATVOD.
AITA had ATVOD down to their last open meeting where more information came out regarding year two and how they are looking at changing the price guide.

Very well said and puts into sharp focus the point that uk based folk would do well seeking professional legal representation/ advice on this matter. Hopefully, the good folk of UK porn industry will be able to hide in the coat tails as a large enterprise takes these money grabbing Nazi leeches and stamps on them in court!

oh aye check this out :
are they already starting to waver, not coz of us but coz they know they will get no where an chasing after everyone will not even be worth the money they would be getting, usually when you are loaded you do not much at all its on the way up when you do.

Its like someone else pointed out Paul. It was ill thought out on the assumption that people in porn can afford it because buy its very nature we should all be minted.
The relaity is probbaly more akin tothe fact they want t make a load of money to pay themselves a big fat bonus for running the company
