What a brilliant bash! Turned up a little early and thought i`d been hoaxed when there was no reply from inside !shocked! (faulty doorbell) ..
A quick cig and a text later,a very welcoming Paul is ushering us inside and sorting out some drinks,sharpish..!drinks!
Always impressed when someone puts something in my hands quickly,without me having to ask!whistle!..

Then it was a steady flow of guests arriving,with plenty of good natured banter over more drinks... and then THE FOOD!!
I swear, there was enough food to keep everyone fed until Monday,there was that much laid on...!help!

Seriously glad i made it down.
Met some seriously lovely people,made some fab new contacts,had a great laugh in brilliant company and found a lovely new venue to do Birmingham shoots from....

**To anyone that intended going but missed the AIR party (and we all miss stuff !sad!) Im sorry i missed you (probably?) lol.. I had a great night out(always a sign of good banter in good company) and was glad i made it down.

Well done Paul,you did a grand job ... Might i suggest an AIR summer Bar B Que?

I wasn't quite sure how it would all pan out but I think the basic ideas of too much good food and decent tasting alcohol seemed to work.

Nice crowd too.

Have decided to do a Summer thing next.

Now back to adding "Event" content type to AIR.

I would have been unable to get back to Nottingham after the party.

I for one would be interested in coming over for a barbeue party come the Summer.

I assume took place at Summer's and Pete's house and I am pleased it went well for them.
They are a really nice couple.

Maybe if you come down to Birmingham again for some shoots I will have the chance of working with you.

I completely agree ... had a great time, PLENTY of food and drink and some excellent company. Shame I had to rush off early just as things were warming up ... had an ill-fated trip to Rotterdam early the next morning! (That's another story).

BIG thanks to Paul for organising, and to Pete and Summer for being excellent hosts ... looking forward to the next one. !thanks!

By the way, I'll be posting some pics of the party later today!
