Hi guys

Been a while I know but just need your advise

As most of you know I have done very little with my website over the last year or so because of costs and other reasons

The website even tho not updated much still takes a little bit of cash which helps me out but today I got a email for verotel / ticket club saying because of changes in Visa and mastercard I have to pay 500 euros or my account will be closed down

Has anybody else had this email?

I have logged on to my account and it is suspended

I got told about that from someone else I know, I think its wrong that they don't give you at least some notice, but in all honest when I used to run things with verotel webmasters hated it no good promotion tools and they are way behind CCBILL in that respect. Seriously you can't be making that much from them without better things in place. The person who told me did say he argued with them and managed to get them to give him it for a year, if they do that it sounds to be like they are doing it for profit, if it was law they couldn't give one person it for nothing and charge another. He seemed to thing if they site makes over a certain amount that makes it worth there while to keep your account open, with all the help and stuff you etc from them for free, they leave you alone. I can't see this being true but if it is, then even though you say you are making money then your not in their eyes and that is why they shut you down.

Being only a content provider for other sites is the best way to go, the all you have to worry about is funding shoots and shooting more content and leave the ownership, running, hosting, promoting and updating to more capable hands. It's the best thing I ever did, and now I feel I am working to my strong points as producer/performer it doesn't mean I know how to run an adult website, which I don't.

In all honesty I think sales for your site would pick up if it looks more professional but what do I know

Is the ?500 a per year, every year fee, or a one off one time fee?

hi paul been a while

i have talked to them and they are going to look in to it and see if my sales pick up so i might start re doing thing with it

i am looking at opening another site and resart filming but that is early days and will take me a month to get it up and running and some new stuff filmed

it is a year fee if your site does not take more than a set amount a month if it takes more that a set amount then it is free, so just need to get them sales up, he he
