HI,I hope you can help me.
A friend of mine is opening a new site in the US and has heard a lot of billing companies pose problems for uk based clients.
Can people please tell me what companies they have not had problems with or can webmasters recommend some good people they have worked with in the past.

Thanks,
John

I use Glo-Bill and CCBill ..... Both seem to work fine for me however surfers seem to prefer CCBill.

Glo-bill has had it's problems but they did get sorted pretty quick and there webmaster support is quick where as CCBills support can be a little slow but still good.

Both companies are very helpful but CCBill can be a touch stuffy where as Glo-Bill seem to be a little more laid back.

Always a good idea to have a couple of billing options for surfers.

If you want more details drop me a line.

Thanks for the info.
She has dealt with Globill before and wants to steer clear of them, lots of US based sites are losing lots of european buisness because of Globill.
Gothicsluts.com for example has globill and no-one I know can get access to it.
what's the story with ccbill

You won't beat ACPay for processing. Easy to set up too....
I've been using them on my sites for about 6 months and they have been excellent.

I also use CCBill but only as backup since changing over.

I have been running web sites since the beginning of time. I have been using a company called Smooth content. A chap called Peter Priestly runs the show and we have found him to be quick to respond on problems and development, unlike alot of the other UK dialler companies out there. 90% of my business is dialler, even if this is not a route you want to go, still check out the dialler people as the diallers have moved onto the next generation, which have credit card, paypal etc also built into them. If you want to see an example of Peter's dialler look at www. bigbrotheruncut.com.
My advice would be whatever company you use, try and make sure they are UK based, I know plenty of people who have bad experiences with American companies, even some of the bigger ones! You can always knock on someone's door if they are UK based!

Go with a full system using three billing companies in cascading order. It will add 40% per month to your revenue. Each billing company has a different scrub database and therefore even if a card is vaild it may not go through but the other billing company will let it pass. With cascading billing all cards go through unless they are actually fraudulant.

The only UK company to be using this at the moment is
