Amateur requires help

Hi ppl, I wasn't going to post but Paul encouraged me, as advised me that there will be a lot of helpful ppl here.
My situation is that I'm an amateur hoping to establish myself in the porn industry. I've been in regular contact with a producer who is willing to produce a movie with me as the star.
I will be funding the movie (all aspects), and am concerned. I don't want the movie to be a failure, and I would like to recoup my costs back and obviously make a profit(This would be a bonus).
So, are there any tips, advice you ppl can give me.
