Just a quick comment on some of the "lively debate" we've been having here recently.
I think most here would agree that our little forum is all the better for having the likes of Layla~Jade, Violet/Phil McCavity, Wendy, Rebekah, Ben Dover, Big Jim, etc. actively contributing to the discussion.
Sad to say, we've had to delete a number of posts overnight from people who have been obnoxious or just plain rude, with absolutely no justification as far as I can see. So this is a plea for everyone to try to show a little more respect toward other contributors.
On the question of excessive self-promotion, well that's for me, Alec and other's who control this forum to decide. If you don't like it, just ignore it and move on to the next post. None of the above promote themselves excessively in my opinion especially considering the contributions they make and I personally like to hear of their current projects etc. What I don't want to see is a situation where anyone might be put off from posting because of the verbal abuse they're then subjected to (albeit by a minority). You only have to see Wendy's reply in "the British Porn help" thread below to see an example of exactly what I'm getting at. If that happens, we all lose.
