Does anyone have any info on Festival Erotique, which is due to be held in Edinburgh, Scotland from August 29-31 2003? Their website doesn?t seem to have any details at the moment (But I will try emailing them), so I wondered if anyone here knew anything??

I think it is to be held at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh. Vincent Dellatoro, who owns a chain off sex shops in Edinburgh ( Leather and Lace ) has been granted the appropriate licence, so all seems well.....ill be there for sure!

Is it being organised by Vincent Dellatoro? The ad. I saw in the English magazine "Desire" has logos for Raw, Hot Rod etc, and Private - The R18online website says that they are the official UK distributors for Private products, which may tie it with the claim "Meet Private Stars", which is part of the ad.

BTW, has their been any local media coverage in Edinburgh (Evening News etc.), and if so, has there been any resultant (inevitable?) moral outrage associated with news of this event?

There has been quite a bit off coverage by the Evening News. The usual daft women shouting about it being degrading to woman etc etc....all the usual crap. Vincent Dellatoro is the man whos organinsing it, maybe he has got sponsorship from these big film companies....it didnt say...just that he was the man trying to bring it to the capital. Although until I am there ill beleive it when i see it as im sure these self rituous women will get it banned.
