When you register for the forums, the process states that your password is being sent to your email address (presumeably to verify the email) but doesn't actually appear.
Its not a problem so far, but will be soon if the email verification isn't taking place.

In trying to post this message I found the following:
It is a problem NOW as I have discovered, because you are forced to login (which you can't do because the email hasn't been received) for your chosen handle. Therefore you are forced to post with a different handle.
Any ideas?

All I'm saying is that I registered last night but still haven't had my email confirmed (or atleat it hasn't arrived) but when I try and use my normal handle of crashsixtynine, the system tells me I have to login, which I can't do because it tells me that my password is wrong!

soz for your present difficulty. we have had a bit of trouble with our email server the past 24 hours but it seems have cleared up now. if you're still waiting, another possible explanation is that your isp's email server is a bit slow to forward stuff on.
whatever the reason, if you haven't received your password by late tonight, i'll try and sort it out.
