What will happen now

Post by Rem »

They, porn sites, are all going to be closed so just get used to it. I am still owed money by a 'reputable' Dutch company and three 'reputable' USA companies. At the end of the day there are no exceptions to all this. If you want to put your faith in USA companies who have no scruples about ripping off their customers then go ahead and sign on the dotted line.

Despite what they say you will not get money owed to you, it's a long way to go to knock on their door, and while there is a right wing born again government in both the US and the UK you better get used to the fact that big business will rule the way they want and Fu** the little guy.

The days of porn on the net are numbered and down the same drain with that will go all democracy and everything the Internet could have given to us. Porn, as insignificant and unnecessary as it may be, has been responsible for most of the major advances on the Internet, not because it?s porn but because it generated enough money to get people interested. It has now been realised that allowing people to communicate freely is dangerous so we can expect the freedom we have to be relentlessly chipped away at.

These are not the moans of a disgruntled pornographer, I can still make a film or two while people want them, I?m just someone else who is pissed off with being pushed around and told what I can and can?t do at the whim of the guys in smart offices. Make the most of the fact that you can still let off steam here, they can stop this as well you know. Big Brother! Give me reality every time!

Its not just the hassles with VISA and US govt political pressures that are causing problems - a lot of sites have had problems with that bunch of vultures from Acacia taking anyone with streaming media to court. I know several webmasters that have had big problems due to that.

(sorry if I'm giving vultures a bad name)
