I have to disagree, Magoo - the fact that Phil didn't try Ricky's dance was a major plus point!

The original was acutely embarrassing and totally unfunny. Watching even the highly amusing Mr Barry attempting to spoof the unspoofable would be more than I could bear.

I'm with you on Angel's performance though - brilliant. Sandie was good too, but I wonder why she was credited as Sadie Davis? At least I assume it was Sandie, or are my aging eyes and ears failing faster than I realise?

It wasn't Phil's dancing I took exception to - I'm sure he's very good - it was Ricky's!

As I slowly metamorphise into a fuddy-duddy I don't watch much "modern" TV comedy - I'd rather watch Angel and Sandie.
