I'm spending a few days in Brussels soon, and thought I would check out the video shops, but I have no idea where they are, if they are any good, or what the stock is like. (I would be looking mainly for American stuff). I assume that at least they sell you what is on the cover (unlike all but a few places in Soho).
Any recommendations?
(I may also go to Amsterdam, but I think I know my way around a bit better there.)

Re: Video shops in Brussels
HI
I went to Brussels about 3 years ago,and i went to the city centre.Basically i drove from the UK ,used the ferry, calais and on to Brussels.I parked/slept overnight at the main train station in the centre.
I remember waking up in the morning to find i had parked in an area for picking up pro's.bit of a surpise.
As for video shops, there are loads(compared to the UK)and although they are clustered ,a walk around the main centre you'll see lots.
Around the main train station there's quite a few 5/10.
Then basically take a look around. You should find them easily.
I bought 3 vids and was allowed to view them before i bought them. They are all what they say on the box,the ones i bought were. Some are a lot more expensive than ordering from the US.But there are cheaper ones available. The 3 i got were US films and pretty dear.I think they cost me nearly ?100 for the 3.I saw some US big breast vids aproaching ?60.A lot of the vids were european,so i couldnt read the boxes.
The most noticable thing though is the openness of it all.The shops are not hidden away and theres a real mix of people in them.I saw loads of couples in their 20/30's.
Anyway good luck, overall IMO Brussels is pretty boring, all the CD stores are manned by middle aged men and a lot of stuff is pretty exp.
One more point,i went on a saturday and none of the shops open before 10.30am.
But for h/c vids take a few quid and youll have no probs.
Not like Shitty UK.

Re: Video shops in Brussels
I was there a few months back on the way back from Asterdam.
Went to Brussels Noord station, which I had noticed on previous journeys was clearly a red light district. Leave station on opposite side and opposite end to the modern Eurobureaucracy. I found a large well organised shop with videos, mags, DVDs, toys etc. Of particular interest to me was the large range of X-Kiss videos. This is a Belgian label that makes a lot of videos with British girls - I sent copies of a couple of them to Alec for research purposes.
