Replacement pro DV camera needed

As a result of a small disaster during a recent trip overseas I have become separated from my beloved Sony VX1000. The pain of this relationship break up and the inconvenience of having inadequate insurance cover prompts me to invite advice from fellow forumites for a replacement.

Does anyone have a spare 3 chip DV camera they are considering selling ? If so I would be very interested.

Hi Will..Believe me good secondhand 3 CCD video cams, are as difficult as chicken's teeth to find.

Having said that there are sometimes a few worth a bid on e-bay





Shop around I picked up a brand spanking new Canon DM XM2 for less
than a grand by trawling the web.
Its a superb vidcam and you won't go far wrong investing in one of these beauties.

Thanks for the offer. I can use the VX1000 pretty well so I don't need a cameraman, what I need is a camera !!!!! They don't make the VX1000 anymore hence my attempts to locate one through here.
