What?s the matter with everyone? Who are these people who think it?s clever to offer up insults and threats of violence. Anyone stumbling on this forum this last few days would have assumed that it?s peopled by mindless morons who are not able to hold a reasoned conversation or have sensible argument.
This is supposed to be a forum where people can openly air their views in an open and thoughtful way, we may not always agree with the views expressed by other correspondents, we may not like the fact that some people use this site as a free form of advertising, and I admit that I have done so and will continue to do so until the people who run the site tell me to stop. The point is that sometimes its good to see an advert, it can be useful and can save a lot of searching, so, what?s the problem?
The piracy of material seems to get up peoples noses, I suffer from this as much as anyone. I don?t threaten people with violence, if the problem is serious then you have the right to legal redress, you can get money off the chinless wonders who have no originality and need to copy the work of others. Threats of violence just play into the hands of those who would rather we, as porno producers and watchers, just weren?t around, go on, give them reason to lump ?sex with violence?, go on, make stupid threats and prove your manhood.
Poor old Phil Mc!!! He certainly knows how to get the flack and get under your noses. OK you don?t like what he?s doing you all know the answer, don?t go onto his site, I?m sure he wont miss you. From any standpoint he is taking the gamble, he?s working with new technology, he?s trying to give something we know lots of people want and he?s asking that you pay towards all this. How many of us give our employers a day?s free work each week? No, we are all entitled to be paid for what we do. If you don?t like the cost, don?t buy, oh! If you can do better then please let me see the results, I won?t expect to pay of course. I have had many big bust ups with Phill over the years but I will say he does always deliver and he does have the drive and ideas. A bit of support rather than the usual British ?now he?s up let?s kick him down? syndrome. This is the last refuge of the sad and lonely.
A great deal of work, not to say money goes into the running of this site, why don?t we all treat the people who run it, the people who contribute to it and the people who just like to read it with respect.
