As far as I can see, your 'occasional' 'adverts' irritated WG (they didn't bother me in the slightest, 4WIW, but then I'm not moderator material). Had you taken his advice and left it for a bit before re-advertising, all would have been well.
But instead you chose the path of martyrdom, and then compounded your foolishness by pissing-off potential customers (i.e. us) by accusing them of sycophancy.

er, we are hardly bumming the boss as you put it...in fact we are just being respectful to the guys who run these forums which by all sense and purpose are excellent grounds for conversation. By posting loads of threads in one go you are selfishly taking up the forum and pushing other threads into the "older threads" page and thus people will miss out on things..

if your dvds were THAT good value you would only need one thread to get things sold
