Just wanted to touch base and say Hi to everyone, im a 22 yr old male looking to get in to the UK scene, someway or another.
I am a multimedia designer, web pages, cd-roms, dvd's, filming etc. so have a lot I could possibly bring to the behind the scenes side (filming, making sites, editing etc.)
I also have script ideas for films etc. so I thought I would drop a line, see if anyone has any tips, advice or any places I can check out.
Im based in the North of England, not sure wether there is much of an amateur or profesional scene this way but wouls like to get in touch with anyone who can help.
My company also do good DVD duplication rates if anyone is ever interested.

Give me an email with any Q's, I know SE is a bit of a distance, but if it is multimedia work your looking for the internet helps bridge the distance.
Im basically looking to get a few free web sites designed etc. for a portfolio to start and go from there, wether it be filming, directing, writing etc.

Well, from what I know Geocities is good but it doesn't bring in any publicity. If you can afford the publicity such as linking to Google or something which costs around about in the region of ?300 per anum then go for it.
