Had some real big meetings in Brussels at weekend and the world market is not good. I can see who makes money cause I am mates with them they have shown me. On Sunday we had meeting with the likes of Mario Salleri, Marc Dorcel, Sven Humen...I suppose they meen nothing to the forum guys but they are pretty powerful guys.
They are happy to work with me because I have been around for a 100 years, never stole from anyone worked for everyone got on with most and respected by the rest. So it goes without saying I have a good understanding of the world market.
In my opinion we need to structure the UK market into Professional, Pro-am and Amatuer It needs a focus. If you look at USA it has AVN. Germany has Venus, Spain has Barcelona, Italy has MIFAD......Even poland has Warsaw....We have nothing, no AVN/Hot Video magazine, No awards, no show, no focus.
It all starts with the girls, If I hear anymore "about how great they were in the past stories" they are no different if anything better, because they are more sexually liberated...All this Charmaine, Misty, Stacy, Michelle, etc being goddess stories are bollocks they were produced, fabricated by a team of producers who had some money and a professional outlook. Most of the girls would never have done hard-core and did it because it was never to be released into UK they done a few scenes big budget in Villa's costing fortunes with hair/make-up two or three camera shoots with lighting and sound and everything else that is rare today....That's the facts. None of these girls would have done "Bukkate gangbang anal armagedon volume 4".
The girls in the UK need to see the three markets especially the big one where the pick up awards and go on to start their own companies like Helen Duval and Jill Kelly etc..Then we might attrached more of the girls into the industry...Right now there is not enough work for them so they are doing all the amatuer work to keep eating and good luck to them.

Now the productions, why would a producer bother spending any more than he does if there is no reconition for his work. His only goal is to sell it in a market that is saturated with 500$ an hour productions how he survives with no platform to show his goods or to advertise his services or get reviews on his latest productions. No help at any door seems to be the answer everywhere. We need to define what is amature/pro-am and Pro and guide then down their own market place...
Finally the distributers most of who are shop owners as well. They are business people they buy movies cheap and sell dear. So whats new in that, in any business....How do you get them to buy your product....you need to display it to them. At the same time as showing it to the public thus creating a public looking for a Movie and a distributer or shop knowing who has it and what it costs to stock it....same as main stream.
Everything from above is solved by one product..BluePrint...Just likie AVN just like Hot Video it is a platform. When you buy it you get a inside to the industry, you get reviews you meet the stars....When you advertise in it you get a PR company...
Me and our Tim are investing 30,000 in hard cash in the magazine and another 20,000 on the concept including new premises....
So yet again I am putting money where said gob is and I need everyone else to get involved, Reviewers, Models, Producers, Punters, distributers, advertisers BluePrint will be printed and I will have the new show only if I get the involvment from everyone who can help.
E-mail me and I wil send further information to everyone, no help is to small. I need a whole load of I can do this mails. It is essential that everyone who is in the industry places an add small does not matter then BluePrint will become a one stop shop for everyone. It has a seperate web-area for porn so even that side is covered.

Send me your details & a photo/phone number, to take a chance on a unknown by a big company is risky & can be expensive because of model costs etc but were not a big company only a couple who make real amateur material so i'm always looking for new people.
What we usually do with females is shoot a film first & put them in touch with a friend who can build them a web-site where they can have a members site, we do them a copy of the film on DVD,VCD & PHOTO CD which they can sell on their site & earn any money from it (the film remains our copyright to release on R18 etc with all money comming to us only) & with the right ads being placed in swingers mags & banner sections they can earn a modest amount but most of the time it's not enough to live on unless they shine out which is hard in this market.
We do pay females but not males, the reason for this that we have a constant list of willing men who would like to do this on a Friday night rather than go down the pub spend a fortune & still not get laid. We do insist on condoms which they are always happy with & have brillant fun making real no stress amateur films.
If you have a eye for making your own films it will show, it's got to be in your blood & is something that can't be learnt if its not there in the first place. You'll find making amateur films fun because most of us work on a barter system with each other so money is not always needed & this forms strong bonds with friends for the future if you ever turn Pro, we know people like us that have just crossed the line turning pro who won't be accepted into the old school so you need all the friends you make on the way up.
When i say 'old school' they are nice people who because of being where they have been for years some of them are a bit stayed in there ways & don't accept new pro producers easy sometimes putting their work down etc, mind you most don't & as it's a big market they are happy to work with film producers if there amateur or pro.

I've been a punter for the last 30 years and an pro-am website producer for the last one year. I have enormous respect for you, but I hope you are not going to be the editor of this magazine, because it will need punctuation to make it readable!
People take the piss out of the need for grammar and punctuation, but it is important in getting a message across and establishing credibility. I saw the front page of your plusexpo site and it appears to have been written by a child - no disrespect intended, but if you want to influence mainstream media in the UK porn industry, you will need to look professional. I don't mind lending a hand if you've no-one else. I don't profess to be a commercial copywriter, but at least we could get the spelling and punctuation right so that people with influence will take it seriously.

You kidding Phil? Those are the guys who make movies that make all our British efforts look idiotic and amateur. When I think of modern, classy, well-made and sexually stimulating movies I think of Dorcel and Salieri. They still do it for me.

Which is precisely why they were, and are, so popular. They did not dispense their favours lightly. They were far too special for that. It's not that today's girls are more liberated; it's more the case that they don't care (and consequently we don't.) They don't have the self-esteem of yer Charmeine's, yer' Louise?s and yer Misty's. It ment all the big companies releasing 50 titles a month and with the cost of DVD being so low they did not care how much they got for them. The shop owners on the other hand did, if could buy 10 DVD's great quality for the same price as a new release what would you do. The shops were scared the punters would buy up all the back titles and not buy the new ones so the kept the price up even thou they were paying as low as a euro per DVD. the still try to get 30 Euro for them. If they had done them cheap to the customer it would have made sense. The whole of Europe is now owned by 2 companies Beate Uhse being the biggest. They now own 10 shops in one street alll supplied from the same warehouse, this is not good because they price drive the independents out.
No one can compete against them.
As for the girls what became of them, remmeber I know them. You cannot base a succesful model on this basis it's like telling a painter to make a few good paintings then top himself so he is famous. We have to be real getting a superstar in the UK is hard but not impossible but it is only half about the girl. The other is the producer. No one would give a model half a chance because we are male driven,,,Fresh meat is the cry. Ben. Omar. Terry. Me we all need new faces or asses its the nature of the punters thirst. Like me mate you are a dinnasor I would build a superstar tommorow and I am working closely with a couple right now who are real great girls. However, I do have a couple of things in mind for May/June, but I've done no work on them yet, so I can't go this issue. However, let me have more details about the mag - like, where will it be distributed - W H Smiths? And I'll come on board for issue two, if only to add my support and help an old pal out.
