Hi,

I heard the laws were changed slightly back in 2000 or 2001. Can I just check that the following is allowed?:-

*straight penetration
*anal
*oral (male and female)
*cum shots (spit or swallow)?

*Is importing US & Euro titles (Private) is OK?

yes, as long as content complies with current bbfc r18 guidelines.

Are there any similiar guide lines defining what is not allowed for a bbfc 18cert.

i.e how sexually explicit can a film be before it gets censored or can only be passed as R18?

If you buy something in Europe which was made for the European market, and not with half an eye on the British or American market, you always run the risk that there is something in it that offends British law.

Hi,

Consumer imports from the US are generally OK as censorship regs in UK are now pretty much on a par.

Imports from Europe are much more likely to fall under scrutiny by customs though.

There is no law sort of speak its just guidlines which make it even more difficult. I believe I am sort of an expert on this due to the BBFC side being my main business but Like Joanna Jet because I have good contacts in Europe and USA and AUS Russia etc so I can work it all out. Especially BBFC 18 as I have plenty through the BBFC
A fine example would be the title New Blood it is typical USA new style movie a bit rough in places but acting. The BBFC had a heart attack on it and in my opinion rightly so. Because throwing a girl around the room and making her drink from a dogs bowl is not normal in sex. Thefore I believe they were right to refuse to even watch it.

If you have any questions that need clarifing ask me, it is difficult to give you guidines as they a different for every movie, but I will try.
