Making a DVD

Hi, I used to make sports videos but want to move into the adult market. I have only ever edited one together but believe, and how many times have u heard this, I believe I have a new idea that hasn't been done before!?! I know, bonkers.
I am finding it very difficult to find British porn websites, it's taken awhile to track this down, which tells of the rules, laws etc. The best ways to advertise, were to sell, how much shops buy the dvd for etc. Are there good sites for this information? I have researched in Soho to find overpriced dvds being bought by the shops for as little as ?3 which seems crazy and a lot of copied stuff. It must be very difficult to make money, unless u have your own website which can get the traffic and interest.
Another problem is finding a site that has a list of the women who will appear in porn films. I've come across a lot of g/g only people and others who'll want double fee for dvd model rights rather than take a cut of profits, but havent found sites that list people who want work in hardcore porn.
Any help or websites or articles to read would be greatly appreciated!
Such as, If I get a friend in the US to register the company there - and have people mail that US website, can that US website then mail me to send stuff from the uk? or would i have to edit here, send to the US and get it duplicated there? what sort of price should i be paying for 2/3 hours work for an actress to do some g/g and a bit of b/g action? not your usual porn, a lot more fun and relaxed? Is the money in website sales and to try and protect from piracy as best as possible by selling direct from the site?

Thanks to the couple of people who got back to me.
Altho the dvd will involve hardcore porn, this isn't like a normal porn film.
Anyone know of a studio that has an outside area or can accomodate a paddling pool? I'm having no luck, Cheers.
