Never in my years in this business have I heard such a pile of self- congratulatory crap. Well I'm not convinced, I think the situation to-day would have happened anyway regardless of the "Sharp suits etc and midnight flits". I too have a cheeky grin on my whiskered face and like to be thrown amongst the pigeons. I think selling porn at that time merely antagonised the local powers that be and had no bearing on government policy. Also I don't recall a "flood" of porn on the streets, more like a puddle.
