wednesday evening meeting for talent

hi guys and gals great to here some of the views on the bgafd but like i said at the beging its the talent who will make the final decision and im hopoing we will all get together wed evening to discuss an appropriate action as yet details havnt been confirmed but it will be in london wed evening waiting to confirm with jft walpole and city promtions who are meeting with some labs today to try and organise dna testing ........

ive spoken to alot of perfoemrs over the last few days and every single one agrees we need to use condoms till we are sure we are safe which is very encouraging lets just hope people will sttick to their word

i will confirm meeting asap

let me just point out the reason it affects us here in the uk is that i know of a lust of atleast 10 girls that have just come back from america and some male talent that have recently worked in both brazil and america so it does affect us people in a big big way take care guys and girls and lets hope things can be back to fun and light heartedness asap kisssssss alicia rhodes

At the end of the day it seems that everyone seems to think that naming people that have been to the US or Brazil etc is somehow shaming them. Most people are not unscrupulous, but to stop the ones who are we should list who has been where recently...name names...not to shame them in any way, just to ensure everyone knows what is what!

And as for Anna's posting about the top UK company and 2 top UK guys working with a girl with a hand written HiV test in the states...they SHOULD be named and shamed to protect us ALL!

I'm not sure I agree with you here Dan...

Over in the US, through AIM, they have a reputation to uphold and certain responsibilities. If they name someone then you can be fairly sure the information is ACCURATE.

I'm certainly not in favour of people throwing names about on an open forum like this as it is far too easy for people to make false and inaccurate accusations for a whole number of reasons or motives - be they well intended or malicious.

This is yet again another reason we need an organisation similar to AIM and if one good thing results from all of the reaction over the pond it will be one and all throwing their weight behind BAIHA.

I'm not sure how stating who has been to what country to work recently is questionable...its a statement of fact as long as it is stated by those who know? For example Anna stating which girls she emplyed over there is fact, not just hearsay.

Sounds to me too that Anna is a more than reputable person stating something that she has full and personal knowledge of...yes we shouldn't all post a bunch of rumours around an open forum but we should post the FACTS to protect us all.

Fuck reputation...if we aren't going to point out the arseholes who are putting us all at risk just to protect their reputation (which is obviously flawed anyway) then what kind of people are we?

None of this was started deliberatly. its all accidental so dont treat people like that for doing nothing wrong.

Firstly - I think you have misunderstood me.

I am trying to say - though obviouslyt not very well - that statements of FACT are more likely going to be taken AS FACT if they come from a reputable organisation with a responsibility for such matters - hence the need for an organisation over here like AIM in the US.

I have to say that I'm surprised by your "fuck reputation" comment... Reputation counts for a lot in life and in this business - it can make amd break people and as such any Tom, Dick or Harry naming names is a tread carefully issue in my opinion.

The sooner the industry adopts its own organisation to attend to these matters under whose umbrella all performers,producers and other interested paryies fall - the better... I'm willing to register myself with BAIHA right now.

Sandie, it isn't the actors and actresses involved in this that I'm saying are arseholes...that is very unfortunate and regrettable and I have nothing but sympathy for them and everyone who has worked in the states recently...had you read the posting properly the arseholes in question are the ones who aren't too concerned about little things like whether the certificate is genuine or current and risking us all for their own personal pleasure.

I'm certainly not arrogant, I realise that it could just as easily be me in the situation Darren is in despite all the testing in the world but these are not the people in question that risk our industry, far from it...it's the ones (and you know who you are!) that risk themselves and everyone else by ignoring and flaunting the safeguards in place.

I'm already aware that not all of the girls are as truthful about their recent work as Alicia and not all the agencies are as honest as the likes of JFT about the girls either! Great if we get a general testing standard set up, great if we have some industry guidelines and a place to centralise all of the information...but its not there yet but the risk is! Lets just make sure the girls and guys who are not supposed to be working aren't...for that matter perhaps that should also include those with other STDs?

Yeah reputaion counts for a lot but it's not much good if your dead eh mate?

I'm not saying we should ruin people's reputations for the sake of it...just the ones that deserve it! There aren't many but there are some, let's get rid of the dead wood and make te industry something to be proud of.

Who said it should be posted on here? What is wrong with posting it somewhere there is no doubt about who is posting the information??? Like start a BAIHA site asap? We don't have an AIM equivalent here yet but we do have plenty of reputable well known people who are trust worthy to pass on relevant and important information.

Not all the actors and actresses are honest about their recent exploits...not all agencies are...most are but not all...after all for some it is their only income short of taking up a new career at McDonalds so they can't afford not to work for 2 months whatever the cost...what's a little lying amoung friends eh?!
