By the way, I wouldn't rate "bizarre anal tricks" as a credential. The industry has an unhealthy obsession with anal sex and though a few enjoy it, I suspect they are an exception to the rule - the future of pornography is the realisation that "great porn" doesn't equal "the most extreme stuff we can get any girl to do". I'm not saying the girl's don't have a choice (chill, Rebekah!) just that it's a tempting route for many to find quick riches, and some will do anything for that. I genuinely feel that pornography will rise from catering for the lowest common denominator viewer into a more healthy exploration and celebration of sex. This will happen as it takes its place in mainstream society over the next decade and as males realise that the age of the supression of femininity which still permeates our society in various ways is over.

I agree with the nominations for Kelly Stafford and Layla-Jade, but I would also put in a word for Rebecca Lee aka Flick Shagwell. It is indeed a load of low rent cobblers n' garbage that we get served up by British producers and it's got worse over recent years. But, it's not entirely their fault. The British market for hardcore is not particularly huge - there are only about a hundred shops throughout the land that are legally entitled to sell it. And one geezer owns half of em'. It can't be sold or distributed via any other medium in the UK. Hence, British producers are not exactly rolling in it. They just make a living and there is no huge surplus of $'s with which to invest in quality, world class productions. Solution? Either the existing punters need to purchase many more movies, or porno needs to be made more socially acceptable and indeed fashionable to the mainstream. Then it could be sold to satellite, be rented out from video shops and sold at HMV, generating the revenues ANY film production venture needs in abundance.
