Ok, I'm a cynical b*****d and don't trust anyone, but would you, as part of a lucrative industry, trust someone from within that industry, who installs themselves in a position where they gain more influence and control over that industry, to operate in a manner which is in the best interests of members of that industry?
If that individual already earns a living from people within the industry, and demands more and more that people discuss matters through them exclusively, would faith remain?
And why is it that the more I read on this board, the more the idea of "foxes looking after chickens" comes to mind?

I'm pretty open-minded, to say the least and although it is now 11.25 and naturally I am not entirely sober, I have no idea what you are inferring.
Don't be shy, name names. Call the situation etc.
Don't leave us all hanging with this most intriguing of messages.

Sometimes a poacher turned gamekeeper works very well, as they know all the pitfalls and downfalls.
However a virtual monopoly can be a very bad thing as has been proven by diddy David S, who more or less controlled all the licenced outlets for smut a few years back.
I understand were you are coming from..however i think a suck it and see approach is what is required.
I would like to think that total openess and fairness would operate if a new system similar to AIM was adopted in the UK.
Also being a cynical bastard I am sure there will be enough of an outcry should anything improper be seen to be happening...but in the meantime I would hope that everybody would give those involved in setting up what has to be better than the present system their full support.
Cheers CC.
