Mmmm, I'm continually amazed at how guys [no-one specific here, just a mild observation] quite willingly pay ?50 for a nylon shirt with 'Sharp Viewcam' or something similar plastered across the front, then drive halfway up the country to have the privilege of paying 20 or 30 quid [might not have the figures right but this is what I've been told] to sit in the rain watching 22 blokes, all of them on wages per week which for most people would constitute a very decent YEARLY salary, run up and down a bit of grass kicking a football around. And yet, no-one complains or even dares to mention that if these people weren't being paid per week, enough to buy a house in some parts of the country, they wouldn't have to pay that sort of money for a saturday out. Add to this the cost of drinks before and after, a curry etc, and you're starting to consider a small fortune here. However when said non-specific bloke decides he might like to play the pink potter's wheel whilst watching a bit of hardcore smut, twenty quid for a video somehow becomes akin to asking him to pay off the national debt of Mexico. Can someone please explain this to me? Has it been announced as part of a government information service that porn is supposed to be at best free, or else a fiver for a pirate copy off bloke down the pub? Perhaps we could have 'pirate' footballers; not as good quality but most importantly - cheap. I thank you.

Congrats on a great post, I will admit to being guilty of buying pirate copies of your films when I first started collecting, but now I gladly buy genuine (your choice) copies of your films.
As you point out, people have very different ideas of value when it comes to spending money.
One reason I think people begrudge spending over a certain amount on porn is the fact that most dont have the stamina to watch a whole film- they fast forward to the action and then to the cum shot, reducing a film like yours to 30 minutes of quick viewing while having a wank and then thats it, they don't want to watch the film anymore and in their opinion it was a waste of money buying it.

Well put Ben, why should porn be cheap? Admitadly I'd like to see H/C films priced the same as a regular film, but unfortunately our laws in the UK are about 100 years behind everyone elses so the guys in the biz have to risk prison to bring us porn - sad but true.
However, I still baulk at paying ?30 for a vhs tape...I can't wait for an intergrated Europe to mean Dutch porn laws in Britain...I'm being optimistic now!

Don't forget though that a lot of tapes in Amsterdam are still priced at 40 or 50 quid, some Sarah Young tapes I saw were anyway. My tapes sell for ?20 in the west end, which I have to say I think is very reasonable.
