As has been pointed out, it is your body, your money, your choice and your decision. None of us have the right to criticise because we do not have the right. But you did ask for opinions, and so you get the "supportive," the "fine, but why did you do it?" and the abusive. From reading the above, it's obvious that you have thought it through, you've decided it's what you want, you've made sure the right person performed the procedure, and you're intelligent enough and secure in yourself not to become a sad surgery addict like some we could name.

Very cogent and in my opnion spot on.

Layla Jade has the right to choose,She has exercised that right and made her decision. She is brave enough to ask this forum for it's opinion knowing that certain members of this forum had already made their minds up about her.

Such an opportunity is allied with responsibility. Should we not exercise that responsibility in a supportive and or constructive manner or not at all? Don;t you think that a "yuk" is as incoherent as it is base?

This forum affords certain people the ability to be cowardly and hide behind a spurious appellation making remarks that in any other context would constitute defamation

To a large extent, none of our decisions are ever truly 'our own' - we have to find that elusive balance between 'what other people want/think of us' and 'what we are happy with ourselves'. I've long tried to ignore and not give a shit what others think and it's bloody hard, if not impossible to live like that in a culture based on the mythology 'if it's what everyone else is doing/thinking/saying then it must be right'.

Well if you knew moreabout Layla from people who know her and have worked with her - you'd know that she is pretty hardworking, intelligent and one of my very close friends who has worked with her, commented that she thought she deserved success due to her commitment and 'masterminding' her own career.

So Mrs Nicky, I look to people in my own industry for inspiration
and looking after your own 'successful' career is to be respected in my books and not just who can do this and/or that.
