Exactly what Tests, besides HIV, are required to work in the Industry ?

Reading the News Article posted on JFT MEdia Websites News Desk, they say there is 3 differant types needed, all ranging from ?140.00 to ?260.00 and these have to be done each month.

A test, ranging from ?140.00 to ?260.00 is surely taking the fucking piss. Last year I read an article in a newspaper/magazine, that 1 of the London clinics was advertising in, that the cost was about ?75.00 - ?80.00

As some1 who is trying to get into the Porn Industry, with no definate clue as to how much work I could get each month to start with, the costs of the tests alone that JFT Media are recommending, are Prohibitive, to get even a chance of working in Porn.

The JFT Media article does mention about a "Free Clinic", called the "Indigo Clinic", but I cannot find any information about this. I have even contacted NHS Direct & NHS Direct Wales, neither of them have any information of this clinic, located in London, or anywhere else.

I live on the extreme West (Coast) of Mid/West Wales, and to take a trip down to London, just for a test is not an option.

As an actor, you should be earning from ?100-00 to ?300-00 a scene.
As rthere are approx thirty days in the month, that gives you plenty of time to get your money back.

How is ?200-00 quid too much money, for your safety.
If you can't earn enough as an actor this way then perhaps another profession might suit.

Or you could try what I did and do some stripping, this dowes not interfere with porno hours and gives you the extra income you may require.

I spent many lonely hours driving through europe, catching trains and planes all over the world, and managed to keep working.

There is more work now then ever, nd a distinct lack of male tlent, so really you should be working all the time, or at least enough to pay for one test.

When I had my Test Shoot previously, I was informed that I could probably get about 1 or 2 shoots per month to start with, that aint enough to keep any1 going, or to recompense the fees to get tested.

As some1 who is currently unemployed long term, with no savings, i can't afford 100-200 or more for tests.

But I cant afford to do all the stuff with my films but you have to work round it.
Try some solo modelling for all the sexy underwear companies.
Or as before start stripping, Money straight away, to laucnh you into porn, plus giving you loads of extra confidence, and belive me, your going to need it as an actor.

The Indigo clinic is indeed in London and not only would you have to come down for the test but you'd have to come down again a week later to get the certificate.

Since you can't do that you need search for it no longer.

I presume you live in Aberystwyth which I know from experience is even further away from anywhere than it looks. The first thing you have to do mate is move.

Close enough, I actually live about 36 Miles further up the coast, in a dinky little village. And Yes, it is a crappy place to live, but l live with my mom & my daughter, so it's fun all round, NOT.

Exactly what Tests are Required?

When I had my Test Shoot, I had a basic HIV Test, but I know the requirement now is for more than just a HIV Test.

What Tests are required of me to provide?
