A model I know, received an email from a company calling itself DD Productions offering her an audition and interview from a Yahoo email address. We replied asking for more details and they said they were part of an American company, just settting up in the UK so had no real email address, site or UK phone number yet. They also asked for the models phone number !

I looked at the US site they named, and all it had were email contacts and no phone number... Yeah a real agency and no phone... DUH. It gave an address but I'm sure that's a virtual office.. Or there would have been a phone number for it.

We replied again saying that they could tell us who they were and where but asked why they hadn't given a phone number for us to call them on... I'm waiting for a reply to this now... But my thoughts about them aren't too good...

The email is signed "Kiri" so girls be careful and don't reply with a phone number.... ask for theirs if they contact you.

thanx for that they contacted me i had a feeling they werent legite so didnt bother to reply i think its strange anyway when people ask for auditions as you normally get booked & do your job never had to do auditions b4 thats why i thought very dodgy its sad that these people do these things

Doesn't JLG use DD productions?

Best not to get the two mixed up if a new commer is trying it on.

That's what made me think this new one was dodgy.. The model they contacted, who I know isn't a DD... LOL

I just mean we don't want to put people off using the genuine DD productions, so don't instantly dismiss it if you get contacted girls, use common sense.
